I only had one place in mind that time...I must see Puerto Princesa Underground River....The famous New 7 Wonder of Nature....But I can't help myself to tell you first what big surprise I got upon arriving in PP and this how it started....
While waiting to board on my scheduled flight, I had a few questions in mind...Why is it so famous in all foreign tourists here in our country? Why is it different from other caves that you can see? Why is it became the 7 wonder of nature? Anung meron? Anung kakaiba?
Flying with a promo ticket via Zest Airline bound to Puerto Princesa, a friend who was already in the city for a seminar, fetched me at the PP airport and invited me to join them at Microtel Inn & Suits. Telling that it is easier for me if I joined them going to the famous cave since they already had a volume of reservations the next day. When I agreed to join them, wala akong ibang iniisip kundi ang makita ang Underground River...sige lang join lang....Nothing is different upon arriving at the hotel....the front view is so ordinary except that there are lots of trees around....Puerto Princesa is really a city in paradise...
And the big surprise starts when I entered the hotel....But what makes me really surprised eh yung ipinagmamalaki ng Microtel na beach frontview...
Napamangha ako sa ganda ng view...
Panalong... panalo! The place was so awesome and very relaxing knowing upon checking out how much per pax is very expensive. Hindi mo kailangang maglakad ng malayo just to feel the sea water. Its just a few steps from the hotels back door or even in some hotel rooms. At the other side of the hotel, you can see the pool over looking the beautiful view of the mangrove and the beach.
But after we ate our lunch, I noticed that papalayo na ng papalayo ang tubig ng dagat and makikita mo na ang napakalawak na sea shore....that was the first time I saw a beach na tuwing hapon lumalabas ang tunay nyang ganda....I was so impressed with the place....ang saya ng makiramdam sa lahat ng nakikita ko sa paligid....isa lang ang kaya kong sabihin about the place...Amaaaaziiiiiiiing.....! Di ko mapigil ang sarili ko to take pictures on those beautiful views and landscape that can catch my attention.
While Manila is suffering from a havy rain that day, sa Puerto Princesa naman ay napakaganda ng sikat ng araw. I think the good weather is on my side...hehe! Habang ngti-text ang anak ko checking out my situation, nag-eenjoy naman ako roaming around, taking pictures. Sa bawat view na kukunan ko ng picture, nagkakaroon na ng pagbabago pakalipas ng ilang oras lang....I think this place would love by those photographers who likes to take a shot of different land scapes....
Kaya eto kodak duon, kodak dito...natutuwa ako sa mga nakikita ko sa paligid ko. Lalo tuloy akong nangangarap na makarating pa sa iba't ibang lugar dito sa Pilipinas. I'm really proud to be Pinay....
And I really suggest this place to those who really wants a 101 percent relaxation.....di ka talaga magsisisi....whew!
NEXT....my Underground River experience....
